ACE is a popular nursery school in the heart of Cambridge staffed by qualified and enthusiastic nursery teachers. The school welcomes up to 40 children from 2 1⁄2 to 5 years.

ACE was founded in 1966 with initial support from the Advisory Centre for Education. Over the years we have welcomed children from all over the world and parents from all walks of life.

In recent years we have become aware of the increasing demand for high-quality childcare for under-threes – in May 2004 we opened the ACE Day Nursery, a 17-place nursery for 1–3 year olds.

Please use this website to find out more about ACE Nursery School and ACE Day Nursery. Parents are also welcome to write to us or to telephone us to find out more. Above all, we are delighted to invite prospective parents and children to visit ACE and sample what the school offers. We look forward to talking to you and showing you what we do.

ACE runs as a parents’ co-operative. As such it is far more than a nursery or a school because the well-being of the children and the staff is dependent on real input from the parents.

ACE is a community of parents, teachers and children which fosters individual development within a context of co-operation and mutual responsibility and respect.
