We aim to:
- provide a warm, secure and stimulating environment where children can develop at their own pace
- enhance children’s confidence and self-esteem
- encourage children to socialise both with adults and with their peers
- provide a range of constructive, creative and imaginative activities to develop children’s intellectual capacities
- provide opportunities for children to improve their physical skills.
ACE is positively non-sexist, multi-cultural and without religious bias. We take special care to create an atmosphere whichis without prejudice and without stereotyping. All children are treated as individuals.
Staff and the Key Worker System
The staff at ACE form a committed, enthusiastic team of qualified teachers
and nursery nurses. Headteacher Lisa Tuohy is assisted by a deputy
head with years of experience. ACE Nursery School also
takes on trainees and students from Early Years courses.
Our aim is to provide a setting where children will flourish. Every child is nominated a key worker from among the staff who has special responsibility for their progress and welfare. Parents are welcome to approach their key worker informally at any time, or arrange an appointment for a longer discussion.
